We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2023, at the age of 94, George Washington of Modesto, California, born in Parkdale, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Elnora Davis of Washington; his children, Katherine Sheppard (Curtis), Leodis (Melanie) of Washington, Lorraine of Washington, Marvin (Sandra) of Washington, Sabrina Powell (John), Joey (Carolyn) of Washington and Neil of Washington; and his siblings, Annie Mae of Washington, Maxine Scott, Katherine Morgan (Demetrius) and Elihue, Jr. (Merida) of Washington. He is also survived by several grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
