He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Arellano and Bertha Arellano; his wife Mary; his children, Lilia Rivera (William), Patricia Arellano, Richard Arellano, Jr., Robert Arellano, Isabel Riberal, Lawrence Arellano, Carmen Velasquez (Andrew) and Carlos Arellano (Betty); and his siblings, Pete Arellano, Josephine Fowler and Mary Helen Fukunaga. He was also cherished by children blessed them with 26 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
