He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Pangelinan and Maria Pangelinan; his daughter Theresa Denise Jaramillo; his son-in-law Jaime Jaramillo; and his brothers, Jose Pangelinan, Francisco Pangelinan, Juan Pangelinan and Antonio Pangelinan (Tony).
He is survived by: his wife Rose (Rosa Farfan); his children, Jesse Pangelinan (Yomie) of San Antonio, Anna-Marie Shinn (Jesse) of Beloit and Michelle Pangelinan (Joseph Arrivas) of Manteca; his grandchildren, Alano, Jose, Jackson, Layla, Kale'ah and Jayden; and his siblings, Thomas Pangelinan (Mary), Matilde Shallenberger (Edward), Dorothy Pangelinan, Trinidad Pangelinan (Trinie), Teresita Schroeder (Warren), David Pangelinan (Bernie), Maria Crozier (Rick), Guadalupe Szymanski (Frank) and Lourdes Pangelinan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
