She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leonard and Frances Leonard (Cerrito); her sister Sally Curatolo; and her brothers-in-law, Peter Curatolo and Rick Elves.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Vitarisi Sr.; her children, Christine Vitarisi, Lisa Mathews (Clay), Peter Vitarisi Jr. (Shelley) and Elizabeth Suro (Martin); and her siblings, Edward Leonard (Bella), Phyllis Lilly (Donald), Elizabeth Elves, Michael Leonard (Diane) and Debra Albert (Marc). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
