She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Braziel Sr. and Mary Belone-Braziel; her husband Nathaniel Hart Sr.; and her siblings, Juanita Braziel, Betty Braziel, Martha Myles, Bernice Collins, Laura Francis and Willie Braziel.

She is survived by: her daughter Edna Mae Braziel-Hart; her friend Nathaniel Hart Sr.; her family, Nathaniel Jr. and Kevin Hart; her sons, Nathaniel Hart Jr. (Michelle) and Kevin Hart (Toni Dudley); her granddaughter Felicia Cantu; her siblings, Mary Powell (George), Rosie Braziel, Jake Braziel Jr. and Robert Braziel; her nieces, Rachel, Sholinda, Sherry, Martha, Penny and Jackie; and her goddaughters, Tammie and Keshia. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
