He is survived by: his significant other Annie; his family, Ellen Hammonds (Zeb), Albert De Groot (Rebecca) and Ron De Groot (Joyce); his grandchildren, Kasey Rossi (Nick), Ryan Hammonds, Sara Goncalves, Jessica De Groot, Zachary De Groot, Megan De Groot, Helena Quirin (Danie), Anneke, Marike and Wolfgang De Groot; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Jayden, Cooper, Taya, Brady, Kadence, Aliyah, Elizabeth, Winston and Ramona.
