It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Joan Vowell of Madera, California, born in Peabody, Kansas, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Vowell; her son Richard Lee Vowell; and her sister Judy Spann. She is survived by: her children, Rod Emerson Vowell (Denise), Rhonda Kay Plait, Reginald Jay Vowell and Rita Gay Nichols. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren.
