It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Lorayne Douglass (Los Angeles, California), who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Ollie Nivens and Wallace McNac. She is also survived by friends and a community of students that she loved to educate and mentor.

In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted for establishing a scholarship fund.
