He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Ashe and Edna L. Hicks Ashe; and his sister Geraldine Ashe. He is survived by: his wife Maria T. Ashe; his children, Ashe Jr., Sherrod A. Ashe, Wanda Y. Ashe, Patricia L. Ashe and Rhonda J. Moses (Stacy); and his siblings, James, Michael, Stephen and Robyn. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
