Daniel Kent Maynard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Kent Maynard of Los Angeles, California, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Maynard and Erma Maynard (Gilbert); his siblings, William Maynard and Janet Stikeleather; and his brother-in-law Larry Babb.
He is survived by: his sisters, Henrietta Babb and Joyce Fields; his nieces and nephews, John Babb (Vanessa), Henry Stikeleather (Sylvia), Tabitha Bingham (Jonathan) and Rebecca Sexton (James); and his great-nieces, Isabella, Emma, Saphira and Kimberly.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Church of Christ (329 Walnut St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Holding Space Recovery Project, 825 N. Highway 31, Austin, IN 47102, in honor of Daniel's lifelong dedication to recovery.
