It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mieko Oyama (Lomita, California), who passed away on September 28, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Oyama and Reiko Saiki; her grandson Nicholas Saiki; her sister Chieko Wakasugi (Tadashi); and her siblings-in-law, Saburo, Yoshio (Asako) and Saeko Oyama. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
