He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Gomez and Isabel Gomez (Sanchez). He is survived by: his wife Carmen Gomez; his children, Maria Barajas, Luis Gomez, Mario Gomez and Jose Francisco Guerra; and his siblings, Octavio, Jorge, Pepe, Antonio, Carmen, Maria and Rosemary. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
