It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Gabrys of Lodi, California, born in Opal, Alberta, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gabrys and Maria Gabrys; and his siblings, John, Sophie Rudyk, Katie Hyrhirchuk, Adolphe, Walter and Leo.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Taschuk; his former spouse Nena Custodio; his children, Tammi, Kory (Nena) and Marc Gabrys; and his siblings, Jean Haluschak, Paul Gabrys, Edward Gabrys (Sylvia), Estelle Skoretz, Cecile Shavoley and Elsie Gabrys (Sandy Lupul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
