She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Gieszler and Christina Klett Gieszler; her husband Donald Lester Flaherty; her sons, Donald David Flaherty (Deborah) and Greg; and her siblings, Tillie Heyd, Ida Gieszler, Red Gieszler, Emil Gieszler, Tony Gieszler, Alvin Gieszler and Edwin Gieszler.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Misty and Andrea; her nieces, Jeanette and Sandy; her children, Katherine Flaherty Tanner (David) and Gregory Allen Flaherty (Loren); and her siblings, Lola Erikson (Oregon), Jake Gieszler (Oregon), Eugene Gieszler (Nevada) and Larry Gieszler (North Dakota). She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
