She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schwister and Loraine Schwister (McHugh); her spouse Urban L. Koehler; her siblings, Lawrence, Kenneth, William Schwister and Judith Kapp; her sisters-in-law, Dolores Koehler and Kathleen Lanthier; and also, Terry Kapp, Robert Koehler and Edward Koehler.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Groff (John), Susan Koehler, Kevin Koehler and Kathy Rutten (Bill); her grandchildren, Ryan Groff (Katie), Nick Groff (Jamie), Rachel Groff, Courtney Moore (Jack) and Jennifer Rutten; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Killian, Nicole, Caleb and Theresa Groff; and her siblings-in-law, Chris Schwister, Paul Thomas Koehler (Ann) and Vince Koehler (Lois). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, a private funeral service for Dorothy will be held on Friday May 29, 2020 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be designated to Saint Bernadette Catholic Church, The Community Clothes Closet or to the charity of your choice.
