He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Macken and Arlene Macken; and his brother Kevin Macken. He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dottie" Macken; his extended family, Holly Murray of Kalispell, MT and Timothy Levi of Pollock Pines, CA; and his siblings, Tim Macken of Brookings, OR and Marlys Macken of Waunakee, WI.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
