He was predeceased by: his brother Robert (Bruce). He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Ann (Nunn) and Keith; his children-in-law, Todd Nunn and Meredith Beswick; and his grandchildren, Brooke Claire, Dylan Paul, Christopher James Nunn and Max James Beswick.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Puppy's Behind Bars (PBB) in James Beswick's honor.
