He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilian Cook (William Taylor, Jr.) and William Taylor, Jr.; his siblings, Eunice Gipson, Carolyn Burnett, Delores Cook and George Cook Sr.; and his grandmother Rosie Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Danisha Taylor, Donald Taylor, Jr., Antonio Marshall, Jr., Donnell St. Germain, Terrell Vann-Tolbert, Ambry Taylor and Jamar Taylor; his siblings, Charlotte Cook, William Taylor III, Ronald Taylor, Randall Taylor, Regina Taylor and Kimberly Jackson; and his great-aunt Emma Wilson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Life Baptist Church (2770 Glebe Rd, Lemon Grove, CA 91945). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (3751 Market St, San Diego, CA 92102).
