She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Tysdal and Hazel Tysdal; her husband Dr. Robert E. Roper; her sons, Robert (Bobi) and Richard (Jill); and her grandsons, Alex and Nicholas.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, that gifts be made to Mission Hospital Foundation in memory of Janet Roper.
