He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mercedes Tasto (Tam) and Everett Tasto; his grandparents, William and Lillian Tam; his spouse Dee Anna Vela of Jackson; his brother Tom Tasto (Mary); his nieces and nephews, Phillip, Rebecca, John and Russell; his cousin Susan Ghiglieri Sequeira; and his nieces and nephews, Laurie Anne Vela, Kathy Coyle, Suzanne Vela, Richard Vela (Tanya), Barry Shackleton (Lori) and James Vela.
