He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulalio Baruela and Antonia Baruela. He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Barwela; and his children, Daniel Barwela (Emma), Michelle Ortega (Victor), Debbie Barwela and Leo Barwela (Kathryn). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Due to pandemic, social distance will be strictly enforced and therefore family will not hold a reception after the service.
