She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Cruz and Tomasa Rojas Hinojosa; her children, Elsie Butvidas (Damen) and Raymond Alatorre; her grandchildren, Arianna Butvidas, Peter Butividas and Xavier Quintero; and her sisters, Graciela Rivas, Irma Cruz, Yolanda Avila and Blanca Sandoval.

The family suggests memorials to the Arthritis Foundation.
