He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ybarra and Lydia Vidaurri. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Ybarra; his children, Leticia Craig, Elena Costa (Brad), Stephanie Yurochko (Steve), Anthony Deerinwater (Beverly) and Lydie Brink (Jerry); his grandchildren, J. D. Brink, Matthew, Connor Craig, Edie and Maverick Costa; and his sister Becky Murrietta. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
