He is survived by: his father Rosario Armenta Gastelo; his parents-in-law, Geronimo Q. Zubia and Juanita G Zubia; his wife Cruz Zubia Gastelo; his children, Johnny Gastelo Jr. (Mona), Gerry Gastelo, Loretta Austin (Kevin) and Susan Brewer (Bryan); his niece Sarah Hurt; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Kevin Jr., Andy, Evan, Annissa, Bryanne, Elijah, Leeanne and Devin. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
