“Too soon. It's hard to write about Louis in the past tense. Louis was, and is, all light. When I moved back to South Pasadena in 2005, Louis was still in high school. As I began to teach at SPHS, Louis was my TA. I got to talk with him every day that year. Kindness, support, love. I am so thankful for Louis. Thankful that I got to be a part of his life. Thankful that I got to see the man he grew into. He has given me and my family so much. I don't feel he has left us. His love is right here. xox”
