He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd and Pearl; his son Anthony; and his brother Jack Hinkle of Willows. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hinkle; his children, Cindy Huber, Deborah Peabody, Shannon Hinkle and Anja Eklund; and his siblings, Gene Hinkle of Antioch, Carole Bippus Willows and Virginia Kanne of Fairfield California.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
