She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Sorondo and Adella Cervantes Sorondo; her brothers, Donald Sorondo, Alfredo Sorondo, Antonio Sorondo and Max Sorondo; and her great grandchild Thalia Chaverria.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Sorondo, Steve Castanon, Evelyn Solorio, Christine Castanon-Aguirre and Rebecca Ungaro; and her siblings, George Sorondo, David Sorondo, Evelyn Jaquez and Mary Ann Sanchez. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
