Chia was predeceased by: parents, Chong Thao and Boua Xiong. Chia is survived by: children, Shawna Yang (T. J.), Cheng Lee (Yua) and Nhia Lee (Bee); and brother Choua Pao Xiong. Chia is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
