It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Emiko Nishikawa (Fresno, California), born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shuzo Yoshimura and Yoshiko Yoshimura; and her siblings, Mihoko Saito, Sam and Roy Yoshimura.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy; her son-in-law Frank Nishikawa; her husband Frank; her children, Gail Yamagiwa (Wayne), Judy Osato (Russell), Martin Nishikawa (Jennifer), Lori Imamura (Rodney) and Randy Nishikawa (Chenée); her sister Kazy Kitaoka; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Kacey (Connor Osato), Gillian Yamagiwa, Jaret (Drew Nishikawa), Ty (Kyla Nishikawa), Isaak and Kai (Eli Imamura).
Due to Covid-19 guidelines, a private family burial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or koden, donations may be made in Amy's memory to the Fresno Buddhist Church, 2690 E. Alluvial, Fresno CA 93720, or Project Dana, c/o Fresno Buddhist Church.
