He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McGovern and May Bonds; his grandson Damian McGovern; and his brothers, Mike McGovern, Danny McGovern and Alan McGovern.
He is survived by: his children, Nadine Magana (Hector) of Jackson, CA, Jenifer Mindra (Niza) of Citrus Heights, CA and Basil Mayhan of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Ivan Hand, Cayla Magana, Morgan Beachell, Genessi Beachell, Alejandro Magana-McGovern and Maria Magana-McGovern; and his siblings, Matt McGovern, Kathy Dimas, Gidget McGovern, Carol McGovern and Omie Behrns. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
