She is survived by: her daughters, Sayeh Bayat and Tina Rose (Chris); her grandchildren, Hayden Rose and Mackenzie Rose; and her siblings, Terry Friedman, Colleen Graham and Robert Graham.

In lieu of flowers, a Kathy Bayat Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established at Savings Bank of Mendocino County.
