He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Deloris Weiss (Anderson) and Richard Lee Weiss Sr.; his son Ricky Weiss; his siblings, John, David and Linda; his grandsons, Alexx and Jeremiah; his great grandchildren, Violett and Amoni; his close friend Vicki Aukieman; and his siblings, Norm, Donny, Kenny and Faye.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
