She was predeceased by: her parent Patrick Courtney; her husband Daniel; her son James; and her siblings, Thomas Courtney, Daniel Courtney, Bridget (Courtney), Kennedy and Catherine Courtney.

She is survived by: her parent Nora Courtney (Austin); her son Thomas F. O'Connor; her daughter-in-law Ethel O'Connor (Johnson) of West Hartford; her daughter Maureen Higgins; her son-in-law Todd Higgins of Folsom; and her granddaughter Alison O'Connor of Boston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Ireland and the United States, extended family and dear friends.
