He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bode and Sarah Bode. He is survived by: his wife Carol Bode; his brother Stan Bode; his children, Cheryl, Pennie and Earl; and his stepchildren, Jerry and Johnie Rich. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
