It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vern C. Jones (Fair Oaks, California), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Cleo V. Jones and Mable Jones (Otteson); his wife Gloria; his children, Sandra and Derek (Erika); his grandchildren, Taylor, Griffin and Alexys; and also, Vern and Derek.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution to support the youth wrestling program at Capital Christian School, 9470 Micron Avenue, Sacramento CA 95827 can be made payable to "CCS, Wrestling" with "Vern C. Jones" noted in the memo line.
