With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie Michelle Ottersen (Fair Oaks, California), who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Nick, Sarah "Sally" Emmett, Ovida "Vi", Deward "Jonsey" and Norman Ottersen; her uncle Mark Ottersen; and her father Larry Ottersen.

She is survived by: her siblings, Nicole (Michael), Erik (Amber) and Stephanie (Miguel); and her mother Shirley Ottersen (Chris). She is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
