He was predeceased by: his parents, Vic Gonzales and Zel Gonzales; his wife Darlene Ellis; and his siblings, Jean Quistini and Tom Gonzales.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Gonzales of Riverbank and Karrie Gonzales of Lodi; his grandchildren, Justin York, Emily York-Jimenez (Brian) of Escalon, Sebastian Gonzales of Davis and James Gonzales-Harris of Chico; and his great grandchild Kora Jimenez.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
