“I just learned of Rudy’s death. I am so sorry that the family must go on without him. I worked with Rudy at Ben Lomond. He loved his girls. He loved his wife Carol. He was a good baseball player. If I had known Rudy’s days were numbered (so drastically) I would have become a Dodgers fan to help him root them to a Championship. If I remember correctly, Rudy was a lefty. Maybe I’m wrong on that but he had a good arm. My favorite memory is the night we were a team on “escape duty”. Rest In Peace.”

“Luna family i have just learned in of the passing of rudy and i offer you my deepest condolences . We worked briefly in the early 80s at ben lomond ycc until i transferred to bakersfield. We would later cross paths on several occasions generally at a conference or some type of training. Rudy was a true professional you could count on and you knew he had your back while at work. I am saddened he has left us so soon. Jim welch”
