He is survived by: his mother Maria Albertina Matias of São Jorge; his daughters, Nelia of El Nido and Lidia Silveira of El Nido; his siblings, Julio Armando Teixeira (Judy) of Turlock, Lino Bettencourt (Marie) of Atwater, Albert Teixeira (Lucia) of São Jorge, Natalino Teixeira of São Jorge, Lucinda Lemos (Jose) of São Jorge and Julia Bettencourt (Emanuel) of São Jorge; and his grandchildren, Joao, Emanuel Oliveira and Lyla Murillo.
