He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francesca Mejia and Jesus Mejia; his wife Karen Schindhelm (Gaye); his children, Steven and Dawn Mejia Karlstad (Dan) of Rohnert Park; his grandchildren, Jennifer Mejia Barragon (Steven) of Union City, Michelle Mejia, Deanna Karlstad (Dan) and Andrew Karlstad (Dan) of Rohnert Park, California.; and his siblings, Manuel Mejia, Mary Ellen Mejia, Connie Padilla, Lucy Bonnett of Fairfield and Socorro Godina of Sacramento. He was also cherished by two nieces and ten nephews, plus numerous great, great nieces and nephews.
