She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Balandran; her siblings, Josephine Martinez, Joe Amaro, Pete Amaro, Marcelino Amaro, Manuel Martinez and Manuel Garcia; and her parents, Hermelindo Garcia and Dionicia Garcia.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Aubrey Rivas and Elizabeth Medina; and her son-in-law Leo Medina. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
