He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay and Vivian Juanita Bonner; and his siblings, Wanda, Chuck and Janet.

He is survived by: his wife Annette; and his daughters, Alesia (Steve Kiper), Kathy (Ben Guenther), Doreen (Nathan Barnes) and Eileen (Jeff Wray). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
