She was predeceased by: her parents, Piedad Tafoya and Daniel Tafoya; her great-uncle Dennis Chavez; her siblings, Louise Gonzales, Rosie Tafoya, Don Tafoya, Tony Tafoya, Bobby Tafoya and Raymond Tafoya; her grandsons, George Otero and Guillermo Otero; and her pet Sijba.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Armijo; her son Billy George Otero; her daughter-in-law Marry Francis Otero; her daughters, Joanne Otero and Paddie Eichenberger; her son-in-law Jerry Eichenberger; her grandchildren, Renee Otero, Chrystee Armijo and Isaiah Otero; her great grandchildren, Diego Santos, Jono Santos, Julian Santos, Saxon Armijo and Kastle Sena; and also Democratic Senator of New Mexico.
