He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sabino Gomez and Benita Guerra; his wife Maria of Jesus Gomez; and his children, Rafael Gomez, Gilberto Gomez, Teresa Gomez, Salvador Gomez, Leticia Gomez, Manuel Gomez, Juan Gomez, Luis Gomez and Luz Maria Gomez. He was also cherished by 31 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
