Romulo E. Medrano Obituary

Romulo E. Medrano, age 70, of Delano, California passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Romulo was born September 6, 1951 to parents Domingo Medrano and Juana Medrano in Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas, Philippines.

Romulo is survived by his daughter Melissa Viduya; son Rommel Medrano; son in law, Rodrigo Viduya; daughter in law, Tessie Medrano; grandchildren, Jonalyn Medrano, Rommel Medrano Jr., Annabelle Medrano, Alyssa Medrano, Jaden Viduya, Jacob Viduya, and Julian Viduya; and great grandchild, Nathan Medrano. He is also survived by his siblings Ligaya and Oscar Quilantang (Morton Grove, IL), Priscilla Medrano (Chicago, IL), Efren and Emie Medrano (Chicago, IL), Richardo Medrano (Chicago, IL), Cora and Giff Knoell (Glendale, AZ), June and Evelyn Medrano (Morton Grove, IL), Pablito Medrano (Philippines), Ramil and Judy Medrano (Streamwood, IL).

He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, ninong, and devoted friend. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all those who knew him.

A visitation for Romulo will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A catholic mass will occur Friday, March 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215. Guests may join the family for a reception after the mass.

Serving as pallbearers are John Advincula, Emil Banzon, Elvin Herrera, Leandro Joaquin, Chester Longboy, Roland Peregrino, AJ Puquiz, and John Puquiz.
