He was predeceased by: his father Silverio Rabanal; his parents-in-law, Norman and Roberta Ward; and his sister-in-law Sandi Eskew. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee Ward; his children, Zachary Hubert Rabanal and Taylor Mackenzie Rabanal; his mother Simplicia Rabanal; his siblings, Jesse Rabanal (Linda), Darlene Wharton (Rocky) and Millie Dart; and his siblings-in-law, Philip Eskew and Tami Ashlock (Bill). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
