“In loving memory of Elek James Venegas, Peace, Prayers and Blessings. Me and Elek grew up playing little league baseball together for SouthWest Baseball. We then parted ways when jr high and high school came about, but we always had communication here and there. He was was always the character and the uplifting friend that anyone could have. Rest easy.”

“Dear venegas family, my heart is broken after learning of the passing of your youngest son; my memories of elek are fond, and if i close my eyes, i can easily recall his happy-go-lucky presence on the playground of mcauliffe elementary school. He was a delightful child- always kind and considerate while interacting with all the other " explorers " at school, and certainly, his athletic ability stood out for others to notice.
