He was predeceased by: his wife Monica Fernando; his son Rudolfo Fernando; his son-in-law Eric Mati; his father Cesario Fernando (Lydia Fernando); and his siblings, Flor Sanchez, Bonifacio Fernando, Roberto Fernando and Fely Antonio.
He is survived by: his children, Sam Fernando (Mila Fernando), Cris Mati and Zenaida Tutop (Joel Tutop); his sisters, Lily Javier and Lolita Bacani; his grandchildren, Vianca Carlson (Bryton Carlson), Jhordan Tutop (Jenilee Tutop), Monavie Tutop (Jakob Layman), Ericson Mati, Chelsea Mati, Joshua Fernando and Samira Fernando; and his great grandchildren, Jonah Carlson, Jordyn Tutop and Noa Appouline Layman.
