She is survived by: her children, Rosie Cortez Silva (Frank), Hortencia Cortez Herrera, Linda Cortez Murillo (Luciano), Reuben Cortez (Louisa Flores), Virginia Cortez Dominguez (Victor), Felix Cortez, Cecilia Cortez Hurst, Michael Cortez (Shaylene Stukey), David Cortez (Lisa Lopez), Daniel Cortez (Kathy Figueroa) and Ramona Cortez Simon (Jesse). She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
