She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Vetter and Dorothy Vetter; her husband Ron; and her children, Deborah and Ronald. She was also cherished by brother and many nieces, nephews, and friends she considered part of her extended family.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the Hoag Foundation in memory of Virginia "Ginger" McDevitt.
